On November 22nd, the 2023 Cool+ Whole-space Ecology Summit was held in Guangzhou, drawing over 1,500 guests from different sectors including home furnishings, cross-border e-commerce, commercial chains, commercial furniture, doors and windows, and lighting.
At the event, Chen Hang, Co-founder and CEO of Coohom, announced major upgrades across four product capabilities: upgrade in design rendering, upgrade in production integration, upgrade in AIGC, and upgrade in PaaS ecosystem.
For design rendering, Coohom unveiled cloud-based real-time lighting rendering, marking another epoch-making upgrade in the home furnishing industry. This update includes bespoke design, lighting design, doors and windows cabinet design, large-scale scene rendering, and more.
For production integration, Coohom introduced its Production Integration 2.0, which promises faster approval processes. Its core capabilities include a rules engine, real-time detection, auto image generation, and non-standard detection.
Chen Hang also demonstrated the impact of Coohom’s AI product matrix in home furnishing scenarios, where designers can convert AI-generated renderings into 3D projects for further refinement and use AI to create PPT proposals and explanatory videos.
Wu Kai Liang, Senior Vice President of Coohom, announced the full launch of Coohom’s ecosystem PaaS strategy, continuing to open up root capabilities. Coohom is also initiating the “Double Hundred” project, investing ten million in subsidies for ecosystem developers, aiming to enable 100 developers to earn over one million annually.
Chen Zhuo, Senior Vice President of Coohom, released the “2023 Home Furnishing Industry Data Report”. The report, based on insights into residential spaces, trends in niche industries, and AI applications, comprehensively analyzes the development of the home furnishing industry over the past year. It concluded five major industry trends: the strengthening of the “whole house/complete decoration” mindset, the accelerated penetration of home decoration design services, the merging of spatial scenarios, the explosion of short video marketing in the industry, and the liberation of design productivity through AI.
Yao Cheng, Co-head of J.P. Morgan’s Asia Technology, Media, and Telecom Research, pointed out that from the perspective of scenario migration, economic behavior shift, and the proportion of the digital economy, the consumer internet has reached a stable and slow growth phase. Next, in the industrial internet, especially in the digital transformation of traditional industries, there will be numerous opportunities. “On the basis of reducing costs and increasing efficiency, the most important significance of digital transformation for industries is to open up new target markets.”
Titled “Certain Growth in an Uncertain Era,” Fu Lei, the Chief Expert at Chaos Enterprise Research Institute, explains, “Chinese companies, accustomed to thriving in favorable conditions, must start learning how to navigate through cycles to become truly enduring enterprises. Digital transformation of businesses is an inevitable trend for the next decade. All industries will be digitally revamped, and companies without digital capabilities will face a dimensional downgrade.”
At the roundtable forum, executives including the Vice President of UJOOY and Dean of UJOOY Research Institute, Zhang Yongzhi; Chairman and President of Topstrong Living Innovation & Integration, Xin Zhaolong; Vice President and Chief Digital Officer of Suofeiya Home Collection, Wang Zheng; Chairman of Loctek Ergonomic Technology Corp, Xiang Lehong; and Chairman of Jialan Sanitation Ware, Zhang Aimin, engaged in discussions. They explored the marketing codes and growth secrets in the tide of digital traffic, sharing insights on leveraging digital trends to drive business success.
The summit also featured six specialized forums on topics such as home furnishing growth, cross-border e-commerce, and various industry sectors, as well as the “Design & Co-Living” roundtable discussion.
At the Home Furnishing Growth Special Session, Xu Xunqiang, Director of the Process Information Center of Topstrong Custom Business Division, Ge Shiyang, Founder of Pilot Decoration, Ma Wenrui, President of Vgreen, Yang Jijun, Vice President of Maydos, Zhao Wushun, Co-founder of Hemuhui, and Zhang Ningmeng, General Manager of the South China Region of Coohom Home Business Group, engaged in an idea exchange during the Efficiency and Marketing Forum segment.
On-site, Coohom also held a strategic cooperation upgrade ceremony with digital pioneer companies such as ZUOYOU home furnishing, Fsilon, Vgreen, Jinduo, and KAPOK.

In the chain and commercial space session, Xie Qi, General Manager of Coohom’s Kool Space Business, introduced a digital solution for chain store spaces based on Coohom Commercial’s AI design tool, showcasing significant AI updates including AI sketching, AI CAD recognition, and AI inventory listing.
Additionally, as a BIM-based public decoration AI design tool for the entire commercial space sector, Cool Space has updated its new 2.0 prefabricated interior design tool tailored for the prefabricated interior industry, as well as its advertising design tool, known as the “3D Magic Tool” for advertising design. The launch of these two new tools addresses multiple industry challenges in prefabricated interior design and 3D advertising design.
Li Jie, General Manager of Coohom’s Kool Space Commercial Furniture Division, announced the Coohom Kool Space Commercial Furniture Industry Solution 2.0, which streamlines the entire process from product selection to design and ordering, reshaping industry standards.
At the doors and windows industry session, Xu Mingjie, General Manager of Coohom’s Doors and Windows Division, officially launched Coohom’s Doors and Windows Solution 2.0. Founded on five guiding principles, Coohom provides the doors and windows industry with a comprehensive and user-friendly solution that adapts to various window types and meets the demands of different scenarios. “By embracing AI technology and ecological partnerships, we aim to empower the digital transformation of the doors and windows enterprises with robust technological support, seizing opportunities to achieve leapfrog development”, said Xu Mingjie.
At the lighting industry session, Dong Jinze, General Manager of Coohom Smart Whole House Business Division, demonstrated hardcore lighting tools such as the AI Ceiling Assistant, 2D Lighting Position Design, AI Scenario Assistant, and Automatic Hole Digging. He also previewed Coohom’s upcoming new AI features like “Image generated from Image” and “Image generated from text.”
In a highlight moment of the event, as a collective official announcement from Coohom and its lighting partners, a Starfire Plan lighting ceremony was also held. At the “Design·Symbiosis” roundtable meeting themed “Symbiosis of Users and Platform, Co-Creating Growth,” Coohom, along with celebrity designer Yang Mingyu, Li Qi representing Zhuxiaobang, Coohom KOL A Jin, the founder of a decoration company Mai Tian, private house and villa designer Zhang Yuqiang, and Chang An, the founder of Zhenni Custom Studio, joined KOLs and KOCs from the platform ecosystem and user ecosystem operation fields to explore the infinite possibilities for future growth in the industry.
