Aunt Hong Design,a professional interior designer, is always passionate about design
This set of works, named “Seeing the Mountain,” is viewed by “Aunt Hong” as her “ceiling” achievement. The design overall highlights mountainous elements, creating an open and transparent sense of space, and utilizes large areas of black wood grain to convey a sense of luxury and opulence.
In terms of rendering techniques, the designer intentionally dims the entire space’s lighting, allowing the space to be illuminated by ambient light, emphasizing the atmosphere of a mountain view room in the early morning. The lighting technique is rather simple, with no additional lighting used, only simulating the light sources emitted by fixtures in the scene.

The first image is a submission from a competition held during Coohom’s public beta testing phase, a time when Coohom was exploring the possibilities of modeling freedom.
The second one utilizes only models and exteriors that come with Coohom, including the floor and wood finishes, which are adjusted materials. The entire presentation is without any post-processing. This aims to convey one point: don’t overcomplicate technology. Making good use of Coohom’s built-in features can still produce high-quality renderings.
