A Career Built on Transformation
Erin Rudy’s career began far from the design world—she spent over a decade in finance and marketing before making the leap, however, interior design has always been a career she has been very interested in. Her design journey began from 2020 while planning her own new build home, where she experimented with 3D renderings and visualization tools. What started as a hobby soon turned into a profession as friends and family sought her help for their projects. Word-of-mouth referrals grew her business organically, and today, she primarily takes on residential projects while also accepting some small commercial projects.
“One of my most memorable projects was helping a woman expand her yoga studio,” Erin shares. “It allowed her to turn a side hustle into a full-time career—that was incredibly meaningful.” Currently, she’s working on a unique private family cemetery project, where she’s using visualization tools to create emotionally resonant designs. “I’m using my visualization tools in a very different, but meaningful, way.” She said.

Discovering Coohom: A Game-Changer for Visualization
Erin first discovered Coohom while searching for software that could offer more robust capabilities than the free tools she had been using. She needed a program that supported both interior and exterior projects, provided a comprehensive library of products and materials, and allowed for custom uploads. Coohom stood out as the perfect fit.
“Coohom really felt like the best of all worlds,” Erin says. “It supports the core of my business—helping people confidently visualize different options—while also working efficiently and economically.” She praises the platform’s user-friendly interface and the ability to render visuals within the same program.
