A Designer’s Cross-Continental Path

Daniela Gonzalez’s design story began in Colombia, where she studied Industrial Design, developing expertise in product development and spatial thinking. But her creative vision didn’t stop there. After moving to the United States, she felt drawn to architecture and interior spaces, leading her to pursue Interior Design in Georgia. This unique blend of industrial and spatial design gives her a distinctive approach—merging functionality with aesthetic elegance

Today, as an independent designer, Daniela specializes in residential renovations, transforming ordinary spaces into functional, beautiful homes. Her clients seek fresh perspectives, often requesting structural changes that maximize space and light. Whether reimagining a cramped living room or optimizing a kitchen layout, Daniela’s designs prioritize both form and practicality.

How Coohom Became Her Winning Tool

Daniela’s introduction to Coohom came at a pivotal moment. While preparing for the NKBA Student Competition in Georgia, an architect friend recommended the software for its realistic rendering capabilities. With some guidance, Daniela quickly mastered Coohom—and her efforts paid off when she won first place in the competition.

Beyond the contest, she realized Coohom was exactly what she needed for client work. The ability to showcase real-time material textures and import custom models from other programs made presentations more immersive. Unlike other complex 3D tools, she found Coohom refreshingly user-friendly, with tutorials that helped her get started smoothly.

“Coohom changed how I present designs—clients can now visualize spaces realistically before construction even begins.”

She also introduced Coohom to her classmates, who quickly adopted it too. What started as a competition tool became a staple in her professional toolkit, streamlining client presentations and design iterations.
