Meet Cooper: The Boy Whose Dreamed Came True

Cooper Osinski is a Portland-based independent designer whose innate sense of aesthetics and bold creative vision set him apart. Unlike classically trained designers, Cooper’s approach is intuitive and deeply personal—honed not through years of formal design education, but through a lifelong passion for design and an instinctive eye for beauty.

Cooper’s love for design traces back to childhood when he filled notebooks with furniture sketches and floor plans just for fun. That early fascination never faded—it only grew stronger and an experience with a design firm in Italy solidified his passion for interiors. Though relatively new to the professional design world, he has quickly adapted to Coohom to bring his unique ideas to life. Now, he runs his own boutique interior decorating business, Cooper Osinski Interiors, while also sharing design tips and project showcases on his popular YouTube channel cooper.plants

With the mission to make interior design approachable, inspiring, and fun for everyone. Cooper focuses on residential projects, proving that great design shouldn’t be reserved for big budgets. What sets him apart? His lasting relationships with clients. Even after a project wraps up, he stays in touch—whether they need advice on a new idea or just a second opinion. For Cooper, design isn’t just about creating beautiful spaces; it’s about building connections that last.

Discovering Coohom: A Turning Point for Business

Cooper first stumbled upon Coohom on Instagram. “I saw these stunning renderings and thought ‘what software is this?’” He was immediately drawn to the quality and detail. “The fact that I could use it right in my browser—no bulky downloads—was a huge win,” he says. “I could design from anywhere, whether I was at a coffee shop or on a client call.”

Soon, Coohom became Cooper’s constant companion. Whether crafting cozy kitchens, elegant bathrooms, or entire living spaces, the platform adapted to every need. Now he could take his Youtube audience on vivid visual journeys, showing exactly what danced in his imagination. But the magic didn’t stop at content creation. At Cooper Osinski Interiors, his boutique design firm, Coohom became the secret weapon in client meetings. Mood boards came alive with texture, 3D walkthroughs replaced vague descriptions, and material swaps happened in the blink of an eye. No more crossed wires – just crystal-clear visions that left clients nodding in excitement.

For designer Cooper, Coohom has revolutionized the way he operates his business.”The ability to quickly generate high-quality renderings, test layouts, and visually communicate ideas has completely elevated the experience I can offer,” Cooper notes. He emphasizes how it shortens the timeline between concept and execution, making decision-making smoother for clients. “It’s honestly become one of the most important tools in my toolkit,” he adds.

One recent project involved redesigning a client’s apartment—a cozy yet modern space. “I used Coohom to test different furniture arrangements, color palettes, and lighting setups,” he says. “The client could see every option in 3D, which made decision-making so much easier.” The final design blended mid-century warmth with contemporary lines, and the client was thrilled.

Design Philosophy & Inspiration Source & Encouragement

Cooper describes his style as contemporary eclectic—mixing modern elements with vintage charm. “A home should reflect the people living in it,” he says. “That’s why I love blending textures, eras, and personal touches.”  His biggest inspiration? The joy of transforming spaces. “Design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about creating places where people feel at home,” he reflects.

One of his proudest projects? His own apartment. “I poured my heart into it, and the amount of love and encouragement I have gotten from people has been overwhelming. It reminded me how powerful design can be when it comes from a place of authenticity, and how meaningful it is to create something that resonates with others.”

Tips for Coohom Beginners

When asked what advice he’d give to new users, Cooper immediately points to the material selection tool. “Many beginners don’t realize just how customizable the furniture pieces are in Coohom’s library,” he says. “You can change materials on almost anything to perfectly suit your space.” He also encourages new users to explore this feature thoroughly: “That one tool alone opens up so many possibilities. It’s the best way to personalize designs and truly bring your creative vision to life.”

The Future of Accessible Design

Looking ahead, Cooper sees exciting growth opportunities for his design work. Since launching his YouTube channel Cooper Plants in January, he’s already seen a significant influx of new clients and followers who connect with his design philosophy.

“What excites me most is making great design accessible,” Cooper shares. “Not just for the wealthy, but for everyday people who want to love their living spaces.” This mission remains at the core of his work. “I’m deeply committed to creating homes that aren’t just Instagram-worthy, but truly livable and full of personality,” he explains. “That’s what sets my approach apart – I’m designing for real life, not just for the camera.”

Cooper’s journey proves that with passion and the right tools, design dreams do come true. Coohom isn’t just software—it’s a creative partner that empowers designers to visualize, experiment, and communicate effortlessly. Whether you’re a freelancer, a content creator, or a design enthusiast, Coohom can be your secret weapon too.
